I would like to interrupt this post to bring you this....

This WAS a nice wound ball of yarn that I was using to crochet a scarf UNTIL this got a hold of
it...

Doesn't she look so innocent!

A big Thank You to The Nester and her tips on window mistreatments! Can't beat 3 window treatments for $15 total, and that was just the cost of a hot glue gun, glue sticks, and wall tacks! The fabric was recycled from a previous treatment!

A Bunburyist Rant

Watching Jon & Kate Plus 8 is one of my most favorite ways to Bunbury.  I watch the show faithfully and love watching Mady, Cara, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel grow up - they are so precious!

Last season was so great, and I loved the episodes of Jon and Kate renewing their wedding vows. Now, can any two seasons be more on opposite ends of the spectrum! Last season renewing vows, this season throwing around the "D" word.  Come on, how did things go down hill that fast, or is this just a ploy for better ratings...I mean how "real" is reality TV?!

Don't get me wrong I am sure there are problems in paradise.  It can't be easy having you entire life broadcasted to the nation via cable TV, but that is the life they chose. Plus, I am sure the $$ and perks are a pretty good way to support 8 kids, and I am not saying that I disagree with Jon & Kate for doing the show.

Both parents keep claiming their kids are their first priority and they will do whatever is best for the kids.  Call me crazy, but isn't the best thing for the kids is to have parents in a stable relationship.  If their marriage was where it needed to be then the children would be fine.  Just seems pretty simple to me, but what do I know...the only kid I have is of the 4-legged kind!

OK, that's enough ranting from me!  I am sure J & K love that everyone is blogging, tweeting, IMing, facebooking, MySpacing, and whatever else you can do about them...

The New Bunburyist!

We picked up Wheeler this past weekend, and then spent the weekend in B'Ham with my BIL, SIL, and niece, Polly Crockett Cheetah Tiger or just Polly for short. This pic. is of Wheeler and Polly meeting for the first time. Lets just say they got off to a rough start...but by the end of the weekend they were semi-friendly! Actually Polly taught Wheeler a few tricks. E.G., Wheeler can now scale a baby gate in approximately 5 secs!

As soon as we arrived in MS the husband took her out to the pond (no pics, I forgot my camera). She was swimming and fetching sticks in about 10 mins - pretty smart pup, if you ask me ,and I am certainly not partial in any way! The husband waded out in the pond with a yummy treat to lure her in the first time, and it didn't take much coercion after that.

If it were up to me Wheeler would have never gotten in that pond...I don't wade in ponds, YUCK.

This pic is of her right out of the tub, she had to take a bath after her swimming lesson!

Wheeler looking glamorous in her sunshine yellow scrunchy - this was her coming home outfit. Probably the last time the husband will ever let her wear "doggy clothes" again!

BTW - we have moved, and I have lots of before and after pics coming soon!
