A few weeks ago we celebrated a National holiday...No, not Labor Day, but opening weekend of Dove Season. Every year the husband heads to N. Alabama for a big opening weekend hunt with his dad and brother. This year we decided to spice things up a bit and on Sunday all the women folk tagged long for an afternoon of dove huntin'.

BTW we were so proud of Wheeler! This was her first "real" hunting experience, and she did great! I think all the hard work the husband has devoted to training is really starting to pay off. Of course we may be a little partial but we think she is smartest most beautiful dog ever.
I think this should become an annual H family tradition!
