Meet Flint

Miss Bama's Flint Creek Bottom is his registered name, and he is a mess!

The day after we got home from the hospital I decided that I wanted this little guy and Husband immediately called the breeder and got him for me.  We had toyed with the idea of getting another Boykin but decided life with a puppy and new baby maybe a little too chaotic.  The week before we lost James Tipp, Husband was talking to a Boykin breeder who we have become friends with, and the breeder told us that he had one male Boykin puppy to find a home for.   We didn't think anything of it since we had decided not to get another pup.  But after the loss of James Tipp I kept thinking about that one male pup, and I had to have him.

I think I had forgotten how much puppies like to chew...on everything!  He is staying outside a lot more than Wheeler did at this age and that is a lot easier.  We are still crate training though and it is going fairly well.  Wheeler and he play great together and are best buds now, and Cooper adores him!  Cooper will try to pick him up and fusses at him when he is into mischief.  I love watching our boy with his dog.
