5 Months!

Sweet boy is 5 months old!  His personality is really starting to come out now.  He laughs and smiles at everything, and he is so inquisitive.

Cooper loves to watch me cook and vacuum. Maybe that means he will keep a clean room and like to cook when he gets older!  He also loves to watch TV.  I'm constantly telling Husband to turn off the TV because I don't want Coop watching it, ha!  Every morning when I go and get him out of bed he just smiles the biggest sweetest smile you have ever seen.  Oh, and I must be pretty funny because everything I say is hilarious to him.  

"Who is the sweetest boy? Me!"

I'm guessing he weighs close to 13 lbs and is about 25ish in long.  Still wears size 2 diapers and can still fit into a few 3 months things but is mainly wearing 6 months.  He is trying to rollover from his back to front but hasn't quite gotten it yet - it won't be long!  He can wiggle around pretty good though.

"What's under here mom?"

He is a great eater and so far he likes vegetables.  Hope that lasts!  Nap time has gotten better and at night he is not waking up as much.  On Tuesday he slept till 8 AM!

"Backup Wheeler, this food is for me!"

Everyday I fall more and more in love with him.  I love watching him grow and develop it is like watching a miracle unfold before my eyes.

Baby Dedication

January 22nd was a special day for our family.  We participated in baby dedication at our church.  This was a day for us to publicly stand in front of our church and promise to pray for Cooper and raise him in a Christian home.  Our prayer for Cooper is that one day he will ask God to come into his life and save him.  We pray that we will develop into a strong Christian man who looks to God for wisdom and leadership.  We desire for Cooper to see God's grace and faithfulness in our family on a daily basis.

4 Months

On February 12th my sweet boy turned 4 months old.  Yes, I realize he is almost 5 months old now...better late than never!

At 4 months Cooper is wearing size 2 diapers and 3 or 6 months clothes.  He is 24 in long and weighs 11 lbs 12 oz. AND he has stopped sleeping through the night!  In January he started waking up during the night wanting his pacifier.  All we have to do is give him his paci and he will go right back to sleep.  Sometimes we do this several times during the night and some nights he just wakes up once.  It's not bad, just wish I knew what caused the change.

He is also eating cereal twice  a day and he loves it!  At first he hated it, but it took about a week for him to get used to a spoon and now he loves it!  When he got his 4 month shots he didn't even cry!!  He is such a big boy!  He is rolling over from his front to back like crazy and is so close to rolling over from his back to front.  He keeps getting stuck on his side.  I know it won't be long before he is mobile.

 Cooper's favorite game is peek-a-boo. He thinks it is hilarious!  His laugh melts my heart.

I know everyone always says how fast they grow up, but I didn't realize how true that comment really is.  I watch his grow and develop and think what a miracle his life is and what a blessing he is to Husband and me.
