We had such a great time! Neither one of us had ever been there before, and it was quite the eye-opening experience. We were certain that Vegas was going to be just like Oceans 11, but it didn't seem quite as glamorous (Julia and George didn't even show). However, Oceans 11 did depict one thing accurately - the fountains at the Bellagio are absolutely amazing!
The Bellagio was definitely our favorite hotel for two reasons 1) the conservatory and 2) the shopping.
The conservatory was beautiful!

The shopping at the Bellagio is fabulous! Unfortunately, I couldn't find a thing to buy at Burberry, Hermes, Coach, Gucci, Tiffany and Versace, ha!

The Flamingo is older than most of the other hotels and pales in comparison. However, it was nice, clean, and in a great location (and that is all that mattered to us).
Even though we never ran into George and Julia, we did get to meet....
ELVIS!!
We went to Cirque Du Soleil's Viva Elvis, and it was phenomenal!! By far our most favorite thing we did while in Vegas.
I know ya'll are dying to know if I won a fortune while in Vegas (or if I lost my life savings). Well this is how my gambling experience went.... I put $1 in the penny slot machine, couldn't figure out how to work the thing, mom and I laughed hysterically at our ignorance, and it turns out that I lost six cents! That was the end of my life as a professional gambler!
But the #1 best thing about Las Vegas is NO HUMIDITY!!!!! We had great hair all week!!
We had a great time, and it was special because it was the first time mom and I had been on vacation with just each other!
