In Memory of

Yesterday we celebrated the life of our James Tipp.  We had a sweet memorial service at our church and it was perfect.  We were surrounded by love and could feel the warm comfort of God's peace surround us.  It was a hard day, but it was also a good day.  We are so thankful for a loving church family that has taken care of us during this difficult time and for our families and friends who have been with us every step of the way through this horrible experience.

Cast your cares on the Lord
 and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous be shaken.
Psalm 55:22

James Tipp

Our precious son James Tipp's earthly body was born this morning at 5:09 AM.  He weighed 8 oz and was 9 in long.  He was beautiful and perfect in every way.  He looked a lot like his big brother.  My sweet James Tipp now has a new healed body in heaven and we can't wait to see him again one day.

We grieve for our son now.  I so wish I could experience his first time rolling over, his first time to crawl/walk, first birthday; all the wonderful milestones I have taken for granted with my Cooper.  We are going to miss him an incredible amount.  The only comfort I can find right now is knowing that he will never have to experience any of the pain associated with a life on earth.  I can't even begin to imagine how beautiful and perfect his life in heaven is going to be.

I can feel God's comfort and pray for a peace through this difficult time.  I know He will carry our family through this, and that is the source of my strength.

The song "I Need Thee Every Hour"  has been placed on our hearts lately.  We need Him.

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford

I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby
Temptations lose their power
When Thou art nigh

I need thee, oh, I need thee, every hour I need Thee
I need thee, I need thee, I need Thee every hour

I need Thee every hour in joy or pain
Come quickly and abide or life is in vain
I need Thee, oh, I need Thee, every hour I need Thee

James 1:2-4

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Today we learned that our angel is now in Heaven.  At our 20 week ultrasound there was no heartbeat.  Tomorrow I will deliver our angel at Huntsville Hospital.  We know that in all things God has a purpose and a plan, and we know that our baby is in his/her Father's arms right now.  We ask for prayers for our family during this time.

I'm a bad blogger

It's been forever since I've blogged about Cooper...  He is almost 19 months old and growing so fast.  He even has gotten a little hair, and it is so blonde!  The Husband and I were talking tonight about how our baby is no longer a baby.  He hopped into his rocking chair tonight and rocked himself while I sat on the ottoman and read a book to him.  He didn't want mama to rock him :(

His vocabulary has taken off recently and he won't let me fed him anymore.  Such a big boy now!  Everyday he brings incredible joy to our lives and we are so thankful for him.

He has been super busy lately.

Cooper has been working outside,

sweeping & vacuuming,

learning to blow a goose call,

making a mess of mama's kitchen,

climbing into cabinets

and going fishing with daddy.
