A DDD Wedding

One of my sorority sisters got married a few weekends ago.  These days the only time I get to hang out with my college friends is at weddings!  It was great to see everyone!

Congrats LT!!  

On a side note the reception was at local coffee shop and they just happened to serve Butter Beer! As a huge Harry Potter fan I was pretty excited about my first Butter Beer.  I'll have to admit it was a little sweeter than I would have liked.

Snow in MS

I'm a little behind on the obligatory snow post, but here goes.  Yes, it actually snowed in Mississippi.  This is the first real snow I've seen in my 8 years in MS.  I was pretty excited to say the least (even more excited that we got a day off from school/work).  We got about 2 inches, which I know isn't that much, but us southerners think that is a lot!

It was just enough to make snow angels

and to build a snowman (my first snowman to ever build that I can remember).  Growing up in LA we didn't get much snow!

Wheeler didn't know what to think.  She kept trying to eat it all.  The husband would throw snowballs at her and she would gobble them up!
