Snow, Snow and More Snow!

Over the past week we have gotten approximately 9 in. of snow!  This is a rare occurrence in Alabama.  On Tuesday we woke up to a good 4 in on the ground, and Thursday we woke up to about 5 in.  It was beautiful!  I think the last time I saw this much snow in Alabama was in 1993, no kidding.

What do Alabamians use for a sled?  A laundry basket of course!  Cooper loved the snow and had a blast "sledding," building a snowman, and  making snow angels.  Please notice the cowboy hat perched on top of his head.  To say that he loves this cowboy hat would be a gross understatement.  He wears it all the time!  And he even sleeps with it.  To get him to take it off is quite the accomplishment.

My snow man building skills are lacking to say the least!  

The Husband had to work during the snow days, but we didn't want him to miss out on any of our playing in the snow activities.  So we went to the clinic to play for a little while and attempted to build a snow dog :)

Now I'm ready for spring!!
